Bolivar Medical Center Long Term Care to Host 3rd Annual Trick or Treat Event
October 25, 2024
Bolivar Medical Center Long Term Care Nursing Home invites families and community members to join the Halloween spirit at their 3rd Annual Trick or Treat event on Thursday, October 31, from 3:30 - 5:00 PM. Children of all ages are welcome to visit Bolivar Medical Center’s hospital lobby for a family-friendly afternoon of costumes, candy, and community connection with the nursing home residents.
The event provides a special opportunity for children to enjoy trick-or-treating, while also spreading Halloween cheer and warmth to the residents of Bolivar Medical Center’s Long Term Care. “This is an event our residents look forward to each year,” said Virginia Willis, Activities Director for Long Term Care. “Seeing the children dressed up, laughing, and interacting with them brings so much joy and makes the day truly memorable for everyone here.”
With a focus on quality care and creating a vibrant, engaging environment for residents, the Long Term Care team is committed to hosting events that enrich their day-to-day lives. “Activities like these are central to our approach to long-term care,” said Megan Wicker, LNHA, Nursing Home Administrator. “We prioritize quality of care, not only in terms of health but also by creating opportunities for meaningful engagement and joy. This event is a beautiful example of the community spirit that defines our center.”
Families are encouraged to dress in their favorite Halloween costumes, bring their treat bags, and experience a Halloween that celebrates community and connection. The event is free and open to the public. Join us for an afternoon of festive fun, sweets, and smiles as we make this Halloween unforgettable for the Bolivar Medical Center Long Term Care residents.
